Mack makes choice to go A-10

Lamont Mack from Angelina College in Lufkin, TX only needed one official visit and it was this past weekend to a Atlantic 10 school.

Mack, (SO) 6-foot-7 (220), from St Paul, MN will be heading to Charlotte next year to play for Coach Bobby Lutz. Lamont averaged 15.3 ppg and 6.3 rebounds this season for the Roadrunners. Mack was a 1st team All Conference player at Angelina this past season.

"I really think it's a good fit for Lamont and Charlotte. Charlotte really does well with players that are multi-dimensional like Lamont. Rob Moxley, assistant coach at Charlotte, did a great job of recruiting him and he has had one of my kids in the past in Curtis Nash while I was at Hill College," said Head Coach Todd Neighbors.

Lamont also was receiving interest from Utah State, Ball State and North Texas.
