Manatee guard makes a commitment
Manatee CC guard Nick Mattone has committed to play for Lamar University next season, JucoJunction was informed by email this morning.
Mattone is a 6-foot-4 guard for coach Reggie Bellamy. He is originally from Longwood, FL and was at East Carolina last season. Prior to that, he played a year at IMG Academy in Florida.
Mattone was a McDonald's all-America nominee in high school and a two-time all-American. He averaged 19 points per game in his season at IMG.
