Many Inquiring on San Jacs Robinson

Rashad Robinson, a 6-8, 250 pound power forward from San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Tex., has many colleges inquiring on him this fall.
JUCO Junction caught up with San Jac Asst. Coach Scott Horstman this week, and he told us that Montana State, New Mexico State, Youngstown State, Middle Tennessee State and Wyoming are the colleges looking at Robinson.

Robinson enjoyed a productive freshman campaign for the Ravens, averaging 8.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game for a 27-10 squad that reached the NJCAA Tournament title game. Robinson shot 62 percent from the floor and 53 percent from the foul line in 2002-2003.
Robinson is a big bodied power forward with solid low post scoring skills. He should be one of the better power forwards in the JC Class of 2004.
With a strong sophomore campaign at San Jac, Robinson's recruitment could get a boost this winter. We'll keep you posted on his situation as the regular season approaches in November.
