Marquis has Tyler full of talent

In our continuing coverage of teams we saw in Dallas last weekend, JucoJunction takes a look at some prospects at Tyler Junior College.
Tyrone Scott: (SO) 5-foot10 (185) from Waterloo, Iowa. Scott will get the Apaches going this season. Scott averaged 19.7 points last year and hit 104 three-pointers.

"Tyrone is wide open, he is tough ass scorer who has the green light to shoot it at anytime," said coach Mike Marquis.
North Texas, Northwestern State and Loyola-Chicago have called on Scott.
Ifeanyi Koggu: (SO) 5-foot-11 (178) from Tyler, TX. Koggu is a 94 foot player that pushes the ball from the point guard position. Koggu averaged 6.3 points and 5 assists last year.
UT-San Antonio, Stephen F Austin and Northwestern State are recruiting him.
Schyler King: (SO) 6-foot-6 (197) from El Paso, TX. King averaged 5.4 points last year. He is a active 6'6 athlete with quick release. King will play the 3-4 spots this year.
Centenary and Southern University (LA) are looking at him.
Delbert Simpson: (SO) 6-foot-7 (218) from Tyler, TX. Delbert went to New Mexico State out of high school (Fall 2004 - DNP). He started classes at Tyler JC in January 2005 part time and has been at Tyler ever since full time. Simpson is an athletic face-up 4 man.
Nate Garner: (SO) 6-foot-5 (229) from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Garner is a winner.
"Nate doesn't score a lot, he does what you want him to do," said Marquis .
He was fourth in the conference last year in rebounding.
North Texas, Northwestern State, and Stephen F Austin are the schools involved right now.
Jamie Vanderbeken: (FR) 6-foot-9 (250) from Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Jamie, the onetime Iowa signee is now a Apache. Vanderbeken didn't qualify through the NCAA clearinghouse.
William Kossangue: (FR) 6-foot-6 (210) from Central Republic Africa. Kossangue is a great athlete, he attended Harmony Community (OH) last year and Laurinburg Institute before that. William likes to attack the baseline and his very quick off the floor.
