Marshall has Frontcourt Help

Jean Francois Bro-Grebe, from the Ivory Coast in West Africa, has signed to play at Marshall next season. Bro-Grebe originally signed with Coach Ron Jirsa at the University of Dayton in November of 2002 but never played there. He enrolled at Northeastern (Co.) Junior College, but suffered a knee injury before the 2003-04 season and did not play.
Ranked one of the top fifty prep players out of high school by several publications, the 6'9 Bro Grebe averaged 9.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists at Chamblee High School in Atlanta. He will have three years of eligibility when he arrives on the Marshall campus in 2005.
"Jean Francois is an extremely long forward who is a presence in the paint on both offense and defense," said Jirsa. "He plays the game with a great flair, and I'm sure our fans will love his enthusiasm."
