Mays moving on

It's been a long wait, but this fall DeAndre Mays will finally get the chance to step on the basketball floor and play at a Division I school. The quick 6-foot-1, 165-pound point guard originally from Dallas spent a redshirt season at Stephen F. Austin and then two years in junior college - this past season at Hill College in Hillsboro - but the road to college basketball's highest level is finished. Mays is heading to the Horizon League to complete his hoops career and he couldn't be more excited.
