Mbakwe headed back home

The Miami-Dade College Sharks have big expectations this season. The Sharks are led by head coach Matt Eisele in his second season. William Coleman and Darnell Dodson have made early pledges to Memphis next season and now add teammate Trevor Mbakwe to the mix. JucoJunction has the latest on where Mbakwe is headed in this story.
Mbakwe, (SO) 6-foot-7 (240) from Minneapolis, MN, enrolled at Miami-Dade this fall after transferring in from Marquette University. He will now be a Golden Gopher at the University of Minnesota.

"Trevor is very excited that he will get the chance to play in his hometown and in front of his family. He really liked coach Tubby Smith and will be a great player for Minnesota," said Eisele.
Mbakwe received interest from Miami (FL), Oregon and LSU this fall before deciding to go back home to Big Ten country.
