McClain headed back close to home

Jeff McClain had a great freshman season for Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, MO. McClain, (FR) a 6-foot-6 (215), left handed combo forward from Fulton, KY, decided to be a Murray State University Racer next season.
McClain was an academic qualifier coming out of Fulton, KY. He averaged 12.8 ppg, 8.7 rebounds and shot 55% (172-311) from the floor this season. The Raiders finished the season at (29-8) under legendary head coach Gene Bess.

Jeff played AAU ball with the Mid State Ballers (TN) and with fellow Racer Jewaun Long.
"I really got a great vibe about the players and coaches at Murray State. I also really liked the idea it is close to home for me," said McClain.
