Mendiburu Looking at Two for Trips
Javier Mendiburu, a savvy 6-4 sophomore point guard from Indian Hills C.C. in Ottumwa, Ia., told JUCO Junction that he is planning a pair of official visits this spring.
Mendiburu said he will take official visits to both Evansville and Fordham.

Others looking at the heady Spainard include Denver, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Illinois State, Lamar and Long Beach State.
JUCO Junction had a chance to take a look at Mendiburu back in October at the Central Missouri State Jamboree in Warrensburg, Mo.
While he's not a scorer or explosive off the dribble, Mendiburu is a very sound floor general who throws textbook passes. He has a very good feel for the game and sees the floor well.
Not surprisingly, Mendiburu led the Division I JUCO ranks in Iowa with 8.8 assists per game.
