Midland prospect makes his decision

Midland College finished runner-up in the NJCAA National Championship game to Salt Lake Community College last month in Hutchinson, KS. The Chaps had a very talented sophomore class that is currently taking visits around the country to find a school for next season. JucoJunction has the latest on which Chaps player decided to end his recruitment and sign with a Ohio Valley Conference School this week in this article.
David Terrell, (SO) 6-foot-4 (211) from Houston, TX, has signed with the Morehead State University Eagles for next season.

"David is a great athlete he is a tweener on the floor that could be a very tough matchup at times in the OVC Conference," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Terrell averaged 11.7 ppg and 6.7 rebounds this season while shooting 64.1% (197-307) from the floor for the Chaps this season. David scored 692 career points in 69 games played at Midland College while grabbing 472 rebounds over the two year span.
Terrell received interest from Tennessee-Martin, Northern Arizona and South Alabama in the recruiting process. JucoJunction will be keeping tabs on the Midland College players this month when they start taking visits. Grant McCasland is no longer the head coach at Midland College as he has taken the Midwestern State job in Wichita Falls, TX head job this past week. Midwestern State is an NCAA D2 program.
