Midwest Duo Decides on Destinations

Chris Ware and Jarvis Williams won't have to wait anymore to decide on where they want to play basketball at next season. JucoJunction.com touched base today with both of these players coaches and got the latest news. Read where these players are headed in this article.
"Chris Ware will play at Pittsburg State in Kansas next season" said Lincoln College Head Coach Kirk Whiteman. Ware notified Whiteman tonight on his decision.

Ware #120 ranked player in the JucoJunction Top 150 just returned from a visit to Western Carolina University and was offered a scholarship by the Catamounts according to Whiteman. Ware also received interest from UW-Green Bay,Eastern Illinois and Idaho State this season. "Chris just really felt comfortable with Coach Muff at Pittsburg State" said Whiteman. Ware started his college career at Cloud County Community College when coach Muff was the head coach there.
Ware averaged 14.1 ppg and 6.6 rebounds this season for the NJCAA National Champions. He finished his two year career at a the Lincoln,IL school with 821 points and 429 rebounds. Ware shot 58% (200-343) from the floor this season for the Lynx.
Jarvis Williams from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids,IA will return back to his home state next season to play at UW-Green Bay. Williams averaged 16.4 ppg and 8.7 rebounds this past season for the Eagles. Williams will now join Steven Baker from nearby Southeastern Community College next season on the Phoenix roster.
