Milestone reached
Mike Rodriguez just joined the 1,000 point club at Marshalltown Community College in Iowa. Rodriguez scored 30 points last night in a losing effort versus Indian Hills Community College 106-93.
Rodriguez, a crafty and tough point guard, is the floor leader for the Tigers the past two seasons. Rodriguez played a few seasons at Redemption Christian Academy (NY) before heading off to Marshalltown Community College.

Rodriguez is averaging 22.5 ppg, 6.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds this season for the 16-10 Tigers. He has connected on 45% (187-413) from the floor and 73% (181-247) from the foul line.
Rodriguez has received plenty of attention this season in recruiting from Colorado State, Florida International University, East Tennessee State, North Carolina Central and other schools.
