"Dwight Miller has signed with the the University of Tennessee," new Volunteers assistant coach John Harris told JucoJunction. Miller started off his college career at the University of Pittsburgh.

Miller is ranked No. 10 in the 2011 JucoJunction Top 150 is the eighth player from the Midland College squad to move onto NCAA D1 basketball next fall. Head Coach Ross Hodge has also left Midland College for a position on the staff at the University of Southern Mississippi with Larry Eustachy.
The power forward averaged 8.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season while shooting 61.4 percent (107-174) from the floor. The Chaps finished the season at 33-4 after losing to the College of Southern Idaho in the championship game.
