Mississippi prospects staying close to home

Coach Marty Cooper has his team off to (7-1) on the season. He also has two players already signed for next season at Division One schools.
Dell Coleman, 6-foot-6 (195) from Oxford, MS, signed with Jacksonville State (AL). Coleman is a combo forward who can play inside-out.

"Dell is very versatile; he can shoot it from 15 feet in," Cooper said. "He felt comfortable with the staff and Courtney Bradley, a former ICC player, is there."
Coleman is at 16 points and eight rebounds this season for ICC. Dell was a first team all region and all state selection last season. Tennessee-Chattanooga and Lamar University both showed interest in Dell.
Justin Duke, 6-foot-2 (188) from New Albany, MS, signed with Delta State University (MS). Delta State is very good Division II program.
"Duke is a shooting guard with very solid grades just wanted to stay near home," said Cooper.
Justin was 3rd in the nation last season in three-point shooting . North Alabama also showed interest in Duke. He is currently averaging 10.5 points a game this season.
