Monroe forward makes his decision

Monroe Community College-Rochester forward Kevin Draughon took three official visits in the month of September. He won't be taking anymore. Draughon has committed to Youngstown State.
"Kevin is really excited to play for coach Slocum and in the Horizon League," said Monroe assistant Rob Schoener. "He visited Niagara and Stony Brook also."

Draughon will have two years of eligibility to play at Youngstown. He redshirted at Eastfield College in 2003-04 before moving on to Monroe.
As a freshman, Draughon averaged 15 points and five rebounds.
"You have to put a big guy on him and he has physical presence," Monroe coach Jerry Burns told JucoJunction earlier this month. "He takes a big kid away from the basket, handles the ball and drives him. If you put a guard on him, he takes him down to the block. He is a three-four man, but I don't think it's a position, he's just a kid that you've got to have out there."
