Morley: Wisconsin a Better Fit

Zach Morley didn't waste much time debating the merits of his two finalists.
In fact, the 6-7 forward from Indian Hills C.C. in Ottumwa, Ia., signed with Wisconsin right after wrapping up his official visit to the Big 10 school on Saturday night.

"I really liked the guys and the coaches and I felt it was a good fit for me," Morley said. "Wisconsin has won the Big 10 the past two years, and I felt everything there was going in the right direction."
Morley had essentially pared his list down to Wisconsin and Minnesota this spring. He visited both schools in consecutive weekends following the Final Four.
Indian Hills is on Easter break this week, and one of the things that pushed Morley's timetable up a bit was the fact that he had planned on visiting relatives in the Atlanta, Ga., area. He told JUCO Junction that he wanted to get the decision out of the way before heading down to Atlanta.
In Morley, Wisconsin has landed a skilled forward with good passing and shooting ability. This past winter at Indian Hills, Morley averaged 16.7 points and eight rebounds per game.
