Terrence Watson: 6'5", 212 – "Terrence is as athletic as any player who I've coached in fifteen years at Mott. He has worked hard on improving his skill level which makes him extremely versatile. He's a complete player who is an imposing presence on both ends of the floor. I believe will be one of the top players in the country when he signs during the late signing period."
Watson is being recruited by Detroit Mercy, Charlotte, East Tennessee State, Bradley, Eastern Michigan, Wright State, Houston, Drake, Kent State, Illinois State, Georgia State and Rhode Island among others.
Rob Giles: 6'4", 200 – "Rob has a big time stroke with a quick release and great range. He has the ability to not only shoot but to attack and finish at the rim. His recruitment has really picked up this summer after a good effort at the JC Challenge in Indianapolis and an outstanding camp at Mullen's in Tulsa. He is confident and works relentlessly on his game."
Kent State, Arkansas Little Rock, UC Santa Barbara, Lamar, Houston, Nevada, Eastern Michigan, Loyola (Ill), Illinois State and Georgia State are after Giles. GSU is coming in to watch both Giles and Watson next week.
Kevin Tiggs: 6'4", 205 – "Kevin is a big time athletic, tough, and talented kid who is improving every day. He doesn't have a set position – you just play him and he competes relentlessly. He's an impact kid who I love to coach. I like our chances in any game with him on the floor."
Northern Illinois, Eastern Illinois, Niagara, IPFW, Cleveland State, Wright State, Florida A&M are on his list.
Greg Hamlin: 6'7", 215 – "Greg is an athletic wing who can really run the floor with a good touch. We need him to pick up his intensity and toughness. The potential is there."
East Tennessee State, IPFW and a host of Division II schools are involved.
Lorenzo McClelland: 6'1" – "Lorenzo is an athletic and versatile guard who can get to the basket. He has really improved since the end of his freshman season."
Sam Houston State, UW – Green Bay and UTEP have been busy recruiting McClelland.
Mott also has a host of talented freshman. Mott says that Chicago native Jeremie Simmons reminds him of Jerel Allen. LaMarr Drake, Darius Brents, Thomas Kennedy, Willie Mustin and Alvin Pegues all have a chance to contribute this season.
