Mustangs add two

Kavon Rose and Darrick Thomas will be teammates next season at the four year level. JucoJunction found out today that both players will play in the Lone Star State for the Mustangs next season. Rose and Thomas will suit up for NCAA Division Two School Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. The Mustangs are coached by former Midland College Head Coach Grant McCasland.

Rose averaged 13.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game this past season at Lamar State College in Port Arthur, TX. Rose, a guard from Detroit, started his college career at Texas Christian University back in 2008-2009.
Thomas played the past two seasons at Wallace State-Hanceville in Alabama. Thomas, a Dallas native, helped the Lions get to the NJCAA National Tourney this past March. Thomas averaged 10.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game for the 32-5 Lions this past year. He was ranked #76 this past year in the JucoJunction Top 150.
