The Mustangs have been led by Jeff Early (pictured on front page) all season long. The transfer from Allegany College in Cumberland, M.D. is currently averaging 14 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season.
Early scored 27 points and grabbed 7 rebounds versus Chipola earlier this season at the Miami-Dade Classic. Early is receiving early interest from Kent State and Arkansas State according to Mustangs Assistant Coach Brock Erickson.
Paul Scotland is a rugged guard from Harlem, N.Y. who is averaging 9.7 points, 2 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game this season for the Mustangs.
Scotland prepped at Urban Peace High School in Harlem and then moved onto Eldon Academy in Petoskey, M.I. for one season. "Paul is a tough nosed kid who seems to bring it every night on the floor," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Sean Berry is a former division one transfer who is finally getting back into shape according to Coach Erickson.
The post player transferred in from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Berry is averaging 6.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season.
The Mustangs look to wrap up the semester break with region rival Harcum College next week.
