Nations number two player is signed

Daniel Payne, (SO) 6-foot-7 (205) from Coffeyville Community College, has signed with the University of Arkansas for next season.

Payne, who hails from South Bend, IN, is a preseason All-American for the Red Ravens. Daniel is averaging 20.5 ppg and 6.3 rebounds so far this season for the (5-1) Red Ravens. Daniel is shooting 55% from the floor and 41% (16-39) from three-point range. He is rated as the number two junior college prospect in the country by JucoJunction.

Payne received interest from Illinois, Iowa, Wichita State, Kansas State, Kansas and St. Louis.
