Plenty of new faces lined the bench for Barton Community College yesterday and head coach Craig Fletchall. Fletchall is starting his 10th year on the Cougars bench.

Ahmad Walker will be the new leader to this Cougars team this coming season. Walker transferred in from Stony Brook University. Walker, a third year player, red-shirted and played one season at the New York school.

Walker averaged 24 minutes per game last season for the American East Conference. Walker, a guard, averaged 7 ppg, 5.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists last season. Walker will look to lead the way this year for the Cougars.

Walker recently the University of Albany and walked away with a scholarship offer.

Jalin Barnes transferred into the Jayhawk Conference school from Howard Community College in Big Spring, TX. Barnes is a point guard from Raleigh, NC.

Barnes averaged 8.3 ppg, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists for the Hawks last season.
