JucoJunction recently took in the action at the Johnson Shootout in Overland Park, Kan. Christian Hildebrandt returns for his sophomore season with the squad. Hildebrandt averaged 13.4 points and 6.5 rebounds last season from the wing position.
Jaron Rollins is a promising freshman on this season Cavaliers roster. Rollins a nearby Platte City, Mo., product is a very athletic wing player. "Jaron is one of the most athletic kids I saw this past month on junior college circuit," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
The Cavaliers only finished 16-20 last season under longtime head coach Mike Jeffers. Look for the Cavaliers to have some company this season in the region with the likes of Brown Mackie College, Highland Community College and Kansas City Kansas Community College.
