New look this season

The new school is just under a month away from starting. One program in Southern Illinois and Region 24 is looking to make the next stop with a sophomore heavy roster for this coming season. Read more about this club and a few players right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news.
Olney Central College in located in eastern Illinois in Richland County near the Indiana border. Head Coach Mike Burris is looking to improve on his 18-13 squad from last season with the addition of some transfers.

Tyrel Edwards played last season at Vincennes University and recently played in the Jerry Mullen's JUCO Camp along with John Michael- Jarvis. Edwards is a combo forward who averaged 12.3 points per game last season for VU and hails from Hamilton, Ontario Canada. Jarvis is a local product from Terre Haute, I.N. who averaged 15 points per game while missing sometime from injury.
Noah Stewart will look to lead the squad from the point guard position. The Fishers, I.N. native averaged 16 points per game last season at nearby Rend Lake College.
Lleon Tillman is coming over from nearby Vincennes University with Edwards. The post player averaged 7.6 ppg last season.
Thomas Anderson will join the squad this season after redshirting last season for the Blue Knights. The face-up 4 man can leave after just one season and will have three years to play at the next level. Anderson was an academic qualifier coming of high school.
