Schoolcraft College defeated Genesee Community College 79-69 in the opening evening game on Tuesday night.
The Ocelots improved to (30-3) on the season. Freshman Ja'Christian Biles led the the Ocelots with 26 points while connecting on 6 three pointers. Fellow freshman point guard Ronald Booth added 14 points in the victory.

Genesee Community College was led by the duo of Ervin Mitchell and Naquil Jones. Mitchell chipped in 27 points while Jones added 26 points.
The Cougars (23-9) will play in the consolation bracket versus Olive Harvey College (IL).
John Wood College held off a scrappy bunch from Olive Harvey in the nightcap 76-65 to advance to play Schoolcraft College on Wednesday night.
The Blazers were led by Brody Gronewold with 19 points and Milwaukee commit Jordan Johnson added 17 points. The Blazers move to 22-11 on the season under head coach Brad Hoyt.
