Nix Running the Show

5 foot 9 Dekyron Nix is the complete point guard. A point's main responsibility is winning games and distributing the ball. Nix is doing both at the highest level. The floor general has his school, Temple College in Temple, Texas undefeated at 27 - 0 and 3rd in the country. Nix is ranked 3rd nationally in assists at 11.0 apg. Temple Coach Kirby Johnson talks about his leader: "Everybody who has come to see him likes him. He's a great overall player. A point guard who is a true point. He's also a point guard who can score. He looks to distribute first and keep everyone happy. He went for 26 points and 11 assists last night. He can defend also. He has a strong upper body. To give you an idea of what kind of winner he is, he started as a sophomore for his high school that played for the Texas big school championship versus undefeated (40 - 0) Willowridge and TJ Ford."

Nix also leads Temple in scoring at 16.2 ppg. He has offers from Western Kentucky, Louisiana Lafayette and Hawaii.
