NJCAA D2 day 3 action

Penn Valley Community College started the day off in the consolation bracket and walked away with a 85-65 over Essex County College. Julius McCoy led the way for the Scouts with 24 points and connected on 6-11 three pointers.
The Scouts will now play CCBC-Dundalk in the consolation bracket.

Olive-Harvey College beat Genesee Community College 106-96 in the consolation bracket. Quentin Ruff led the Panthers in the win with 32 points. Ervin Mitchell led Genesee Community College with 37 points in the defeat.
Lansing Community College advances to play another day in defeating Hesston College 101-84. Freshman wing player Javon Haines led the Stars with 29 points and Tracy Edmond chipped in 23 points and 9 assists.
Olive-Harvey College will play Lansing Community College on Friday in the consolation bracket.
Lakeland College stayed off elimination in defeating Garrett College 102-84. The Lakers were led in scoring by freshman point guard Montell Goodwin with 28 points and 6 assists. Sophomore guard Mike Davis added 27 points in the victory.
The last game of the night had Des Moines Area Community College defeating Kishwaukee College 72-63. The Bears will now play in the Final 4 versus John Wood Community College on Friday evening.
Paris Collins led the Bears with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Jon Fuqua added 12 points, 17 rebounds and 6 block shots in the victory.
Juwan Starks led Kishwaukee College with 21 points while hitting on 5-7 from three pointers.
The Final 4 is on Friday along with the rest of action from the consolation bracket.
