NJCAA D2 final 4
Richard Bland College took two overtimes to beat the defending national champions Phoenix College 87-85.
The Statesmen will play in there first championship game tonight. The Statesmen were led in scoring by sophomore Avery Ugba with 26 points and 17 rebounds. Tavon Mealy chipped in 14 points in the win.

The Bears were led again in scoring by Brandon Brown with 33 points and 9 assists.
John Wood Community College defeated Des Moines Area Community College 72-61 to advance to the NJCAA D2 National Championship game. The Blazers were led by Paxton Harmon with 23 points, Jordan Johnson 20 points and Brody Gronewold 17 points.
Jon Fuqua led the Bears in the loss with 27 points and Aarias Austin added 17 points.
Phoenix College will play Des Moines Area Community College in the third place game on Saturday.
