NJCAA D2 POY decides

Mott Community College guard John Taylor will continue his basketball career at Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, Calif. this coming fall. Taylor helped the Bears defeat the Community College of Rhode Island 70-60 back in Danville, Ill. this past March for the NJCAA Division 2 Title.

Taylor started his college career at Chipola College before taking classes at Rust College in Mississippi. Taylor fell short of graduation and found himself signing with Fresno Pacific.
Taylor is ranked No. 94 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150.
Taylor averaged 24.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists for the 35-1 Bears this past season.
The Bears are coached by longtime head coach Steve Schmidt. Taylor was voted Player of the Year this season after helping the Bears win their fourth school title under Schmidt.
