Xavier Munford will join forces with his old high school Danny Hurley at the University of Rhode Island this coming fall according to Iowa Western Community College Assistant Coach James Bankhead.

Munford started his college career at Miami-Dade College before transferring to the Reivers this past fall. Munford averaged 16.6 ppg, 3.1 rebounds and 2 assists per game this season for the 25-8 Reivers.
Munford played for Hurley is high school at St Benedict's in New Jersey.
Reivers teammate Alonzo Traylor will play his college basketball at the University of North Dakota this coming fall. UND will be playing in the Big Sky Conference. Traylor averaged 14 points and 6 rebounds per game this season. Traylor is Minneapolis, Minn. native.
