Norsemen doings

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M finished the season at 18-14 this season under head coach Dustin Grover. The Norse will look to replace two players next season in Frederico Santos and Jeff Newberry.
"Frederico has signed with NAIA program John Brown University" said Norsemen Assistant coach Jeremy Jackson.

Santos a undersized post player from Brazil averaged 14.3 ppg and 12.5 rebounds
this season. Santos was ranked number two in the country by the NJCAA in rebounding this season.
Santos arrived on campus back in January 2012 at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and had to go the NAIA route because of age restrictions.
"Frederico is absolute warrior on the floor, he doesn't pass the eye test but he brings his lunch pale towork every night and delivers" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
More news from Miami, OK has guard Jeff Newberry not returning to the Norsemen program next season according to Jackson. Newberry a guard from Atlanta, GA redshirted his freshman year at Ole Miss before arriving on campus.
Newberry will look to play junior college somewhere else next year it looks like according to Jackson.
Newberry averaged 14.8 ppg this season.
