North Idaho guard stays in state
Shawn Henderson sat out last season at North Idaho College for the Cardinals. Henderson, a sophomore guard, has decided to make a early pledge for next season on his recruitment. JucoJunction has the latest on where Henderson will play college ball at next season in this story.
Henderson, (SO) 6-foot-3 from Seattle,WA, will for the University of Idaho Vandals next season according to North Idaho College head coach Jared Phay.

"I expect Shawn to be one of the best guards in the country this year at the juco level and I think he will have great success at Idaho as well. I know Shawn is very excited about becoming a Vandal next season and the competition he will face in the WAC conference," said Phay.
Henderson has the Cardinals off to a 3-0 start this season. Eastern Washington and Portland State also showed interest in Henderson this fall.
