Northeastern guard to the Sun Belt

Mike Dominguez will be heading to the Sunshine State next season and will be playing in the Sun Belt Conference. Dominiquez committed to Florida International University today according to Northeastern Junior College Head coach Eddie Trenkle.
Dominguez, (SO) 6-foot-3 (185) from Espanola, NM, is a sharp shooting off guard. Mike averaged 12.1 ppg, 4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2 steals this season for the Plainsmen. Dominguez shot a unbelievable 46% (84-182) from three point range. Mike made (155-341) three pointers over two years which comes out to a 45.4% clip. Dominguez scored 678 career points in 61 games at Northeastern Junior College.

"Mike really thought it was a great fit for him to attend Florida International next season," said Trenkle.
Mike also received interest Sam Houston State. Dominguez was a first team all region performer this season.
