Taking a chance on a basketball player sometimes backfires. One player did just that recently from the Jayhawk Conference and JucoJunction has the latest on this player right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news.
I really hate to see a talent go to waste and Garden City Community College Geron Johnson did just that once again. The recently committed the Memphis Tigers prospect has been dismissed from school and the team at Garden City Community College according to Broncbusters head coach Kris Baumann.

Johnson, who played at Chipola College in Marianna, Fla., ran into some off the court issues last season for the Indians. The guard who hails from Dayton, Ohio attended Dunbar High School.
Johnson was averaging 19 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game this season after 25 games played for Garden City Community College.
Johnson shot 51 percent (165-327) from the floor this season and was ranked No. 22 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150.
