Nunnally says yes to Pacific

The University of Pacific has been one of the most mentioned names in the early part of the junior college recruiting process. It appears Pacific has landed one of its primary targets. San Joaquin Delta star Michael Nunnally has given the school a verbal commitment.
Nunnally is a 6-foot-9 lefty that can play either center or power forward. He has a solid 220-pound frame and is very athletic for his size.

"I didn't want to have a load of schools recruiting me at the end," Nunnally told The Record, a paper that covers the San Joaquin County scene. "I didn't want to worry about all of these schools jumping in at the last minute. I really want to make my team better and get it as far as it can, and help my teammates get better and get myself better."
San Joaquin Delta produced three Division One players a season ago and was 29-7. Nunnally averaged ten points and six rebounds per game.
