NY native in Land of Lincoln

The early part of the NCAA Signing period is behind us now and JucoJunction got to get a head start on alot of players for this coming season. Jamal Williams is back for a second season at Lake Land College in Mattoon, I.L. for head coach Cedric Brown.

The Brooklyn, N.Y. native averaged 8 points, 3.4 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game last season for the Lakers in Region 24.
"Jamal really likes to have the ball in his hands and has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Williams prepped at Stevens Prep in Raleigh, N.C. out of high school in the Big Apple. Look for Williams and his Lakers teammates to make a run for the Region 24 Championship and a trip to Hutchinson, K.S. this coming March.
