Lashun Watson, (SO) 6-foot-5 (195) from Greenville, GA, will be heading to Mobile, AL next season to play for coach Ronnie Arrow at South Alabama. Watson averaged 9.3 ppg and 4.3 rebounds last season.
"Watson is a very versatile player that can play the 1-3 positions on the floor," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Josh Hunter, (SO) 6-foot-6 (220) from Albany, GA is off to Appalachian State. Hunter received interest from Arkansas Little Rock and Coastal Carolina. Josh visited all three campuses. Hunter averaged 10.5 ppg and 9.2 rebounds last season for the Raiders. The power forward was the 5th Raider this fall to verbal early. Keith Ramsey earlier this week committed to Missouri.
Look for the Raiders to make the Panhandle Conference very deep with talent this season with the likes of Chipola College, Tallahassee Community College, Gulf Coast Community College and Pensacola Junior College.
