Olney Central prospect moving on

Olney Central College in Olney,IL now has five players who move on to the Division One ranks for this coming fall when freshman Cor-J Cox recently found a home for this coming season. JucoJunction has the latest on Cox in this article.
Cox, (FR) 6-foot-5 (215), will be playing at Mississippi Valley State University this coming season according to Blue Knight Head Coach Mike Burris.

"Cor-J is a tremendous athlete that has a great wingspan," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Cox will have three years to play for Mississippi Valley State after being a freshman qualifier coming out of high school. The Blue Knights finished 20-11 this season and now have nine players moving on for this coming season. Five players will play Division One ball.
Cox averaged 3.5 ppg this past season while grabbing 2.1 rebounds from the wing position. The Blue Knights will have some new faces this coming season. PJ Alston, (FR) 6-foot-7 (300), and Tank Johnson, 6-foot-5, will help the frontline. Alston and Johnson are both incoming freshman. Alston hails from Oxford, NC and Johnson is from Oshkosh, WI. Johnson was placed into Olney Central College by UW-Green Bay.
Peterson Bernard, (SO) 6-foot-7 (240), has transferred into Olney Central College from Cabrillo College in Northern California. Bernard averaged 13 ppg and 7 rebounds last season while shooting 69% from the floor. Bernard, a power forward, hails from Boston, MA.
