"Jamaal Trice will play at Appalachian State University," said Midland College Head Coach Ross Hodge.
Trice is ranked No.70 in the 2011 JucoJunction Top 150. He will team up with fellow teammate Rodney Milum next season in Boone, N.C.
Trice averaged 8.3 points and 3 rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent from the floor last season for the 34-3 Chaps. The Chaps lost in the NJCAA National Title game to the College of Southern Idaho.
Trice prepped at Mount Zion Christian Academy in Durham, N.C. before landing at UCONN as a freshman. Trice is originally from Los Angeles, C.A.
