Oregon big man in the midst of visits

Brian Freeman is a big kid in any part of the country. Freeman, 6-foot-10 (240), just completed his sophomore season at Clackamas CC in Oregon. Head Coach Clif Wegner had a chance to talk to JucoJunction about Freeman's recruitment today.
Brian Freeman led the Cougars to a NWAACC Championship this past season at (29-4). Brian scored 20 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in the Championship game versus Blue Mountain. Freeman shattered the tournament rebound record of 47 rebounds by grabbing 66 boards. The eventual champion has to play four games in four straight days to capture the crown.

"Brian can really shoot the ball well for being 6-10. He has great hands and is a super passer," said Wegner.
The academic qualifier out of high school is in his third year at Clackamas after redshirting last season with a bad hip.
"The MVP of Region and NWAACC Tourney is one of the best players I have ever had," said Wegner.
Freeman averaged 18 ppg and 18 rebounds this past season for the Cougars.
"Brian has the best skill package in the NWAACC," said Wegner.
Brian already has visited San Jose State back in mid-March. Hawaii and Boise State are set to be his next two official visits. Freeman has offers from all three schools. San Diego is also showing interest in the 4/5 man. Brian averaged 15 ppg and 13 rebounds while shooting 65% from the floor back in 2004-2005 during his freshman campaign.
