Howard College's Chad Posthumus started his college career at the University of British Columbia in Canada. Posthumus will now play at Morehead State University next fall according to Hawks assistant coach Jase Coburn.

Posthumus averaged four points and 3.2 rebounds and shot 57 percent from the floor. The Hawks play in Region 5 of West Texas.
Fellow Hawks player Leon Cooper has received a release from his scholarship at Morehead State according to Coburn. The guard has three years to play at the four year level.
Posthumus is ranked No. 100 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150. "Chad is a big bodied post player who has the ability to finish with both hands," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Posthumus received interest from Loyola University-Chicago and Morehead State before deciding on the Eagles.
