Navarro College assistant coach Eric Colbert informed JucoJunction today that Jeremy Adams recently visited the University of Colorado and walked away very impressed. "Jeremy will play for the Buffs next season," said Colbert.
Adams will have three years to play for Colorado after redshirting at Texas A&M after leaving high school in Mississippi. Adams averaged 12 points and four rebounds per game this season for the Bulldogs.
"Jeremy has a good body for a guard. He can really get to the basket off the bounce and uses his body to draw contact," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Adams now joins teammate Greg Allen in finding a school for next fall. The Eureka, C.A. native will play at USC in the PAC-10 Conference.
Teammate Leon Gibson will take a visit to Iona this coming weekend according to coach Colbert. Houston, UAB and Long Beach State are showing interest in the post player from Downey, C.A.
