Tacoma Community College head coach Carl Howell tipped off JucoJunction today that Mark McLaughlin will stay nearby and play at the University of Washington this coming fall.

McLaughlin averaged 28.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season for the 26-5 Titans. The Titans won their 2nd NWAACC title this season under coach Howell.
"It has always been my dream to play for the University of Washington. It hasn't been the straightest path to get here but, it's where I'm supposed to be," said McLaughlin.
Gonzaga, West Virginia, Oregon State, Boise State and Hawaii also showed interest in McLaughlin this spring.
McLaughlin prepped at New Hampton in New Hampshire where he signed to go to Baylor University. McLaughlin made a stop at Seattle University before landing at Tacoma Community College this season.
