Pacific lands Jayhawk prospect

Barton County Community College in Great Bend, KS finished (23-8) under head Craig Fletchall. One Cougar decided to end his recruitment early this fall. JucoJunction has the latest on which Cougar has made decision on a future school to attend.

Nyika Williams, (SO) 6-foot-7 (210) from Kingston, St. Vincent, will be heading to the Big West Conference next fall.

"Nyika is going to play at Pacific University," said Barton County Community College assistant coach Jordan Watson. "Coach Bob Thomason and assistant coach Ron Verlin have benn recruiting Nyika for over a year now. Nyika is very excited to sign early and focus on having a great sophomore year for the Cougars."

Williams averaged 6.5 ppg and 5.5 rebounds last season while shooting 59.1% (75-127) from the floor last season. Nyika received interest from Central Arkansas, Long Island University, Central Connecticut State and Central Michigan according to Watson.
