Panhandle player decides

The Panhandle Conference in Northern Florida produces players on the a yearly basis to the division one level. JucoJunction found out today that one player from the Commodores of Gulf Coast Community College can stop looking for a school next season. "Javon Dawson has committed to Colorado State University for next season to play for the Rams in the Mountain West Conference," said Gulf Coast Community College Assistant Coach Odell Witherspoon. Dawson a power forward will redshirt this season for the Commodores with a knee ligament and will have three years to play for the Rams.

Dawson averaged 8.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game last season for the Commodores. Dawson is a Cordale, G.A. native. He visited Charlotte earlier this fall.
