Paris guard finds a home

Raymond Sims had a great two year career at Paris Junior College in Paris, TX. JucoJunction was informed last night by Dragons head coach Ross Hodge that Sims has decided on a school for next season. We have the latest on Sims and his future school in this article.
Sims, (SO) 5-foot-9 (180) from Philadelphia, PA, will play at South Alabama next season according to coach Hodge.

"Raymond is a pure point guard who makes everybody around him better. He has been a winner at every level and was a big part of our success the last two years," said Hodge.
Sims received interest from San Francisco,Georgia State,St Bonaventure and North Texas which he visited back in fall. Raymond averaged 5.2 ppg and 6 assists this season. Sims dished out over 325 assists in two seasons with the Dragons.
Sims prepped at Boys to Men Academy in Chicago, IL after leaving high school in Philadelphia. Raymond will now join teammates Shannon Shorter (North Texas) and Kenny Gabriel (Auburn) in finding schools next season. Gabriel will have three years to play for the Tigers.
