Penn Valley swingman getting looks

At one point, Penn Valley (MO) swingman Josh Hudspeth was rated among the top 60 junior college players in the country. Right now, the interest in Hudspeth may not be quite to that level, but he has a shot at playing Division One ball next season.
“He's getting some D1 looks, I don't have a list in front of me,” said Penn Valley head coach Marcus Harvey. “But a host of Division Two schools are interested.”

Working against Hudspeth is that he's playing out of position on the juco level.
“We've got him playing the four and the five, but he's really a two or three,” Harvey said. “We've got him playing inside because of our size. He's athletic, he can really get up and down the court, he can shoot the three every now and then.”
Harvey said Hudspeth's position at the next level could change.
“It just depends,” said the coach. “He can play the two or the three. What we need is somebody that can score around the post are, and he can do that too, so that's where we've got him right now. He can shoot the three, or take it to the hole, a slasher type. He can play anywhere really.”
At this point, it's impossible to judge exactly where Hudspeth will be playing next season.
