Perry commits during official visit
Many of the top junior college players are starting to make official visits here in the next few weeks. JucoJunction was told this morning that one player from John A . Logan College in Carterville, IL has found a school for next fall.
"Jesse Perry has committed to the University of Arizona. Jesse committed last night to the Wildcats before leaving this morning to come back to the Midwest," said Volunteers assistant coach Kyle Smithpeters.

Perry only needed one official visit to end his recruitment. Jesse received strong interest from South Carolina, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Marquette this spring according to Smithpeters.
"Jesse has is currently weighing 210 pounds after coming into school at 179 pounds as a freshman," said Smithpeters.
Perry was voted Player of the Year this season in Region 24 along with 1st Team All Region. Perry averaged 17 ppg and 10.9 rebounds this past season while shooting 57% (148-260) from the floor. Perry shot 48% (24-50) from three point range.
Perry will now join teammate Lazeric Jones in the Pac 10 Conference next season. Jones committed to UCLA earlier this season. JucoJunction will keep an eye on the rest of the Volunteers players as many will be taking visits the weekend after the Final Four.
