Western Nebraska Community College is located in Scottsbluff, Neb. The Cougars are coached by Russell Beck and are off to a 5-0 start on this young season.

'Raul Delgado is off to a quick start this season for the Cougars along with Du'Vaughn Maxwell. Maxwell is ranked No.7 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150.
Delgado, a shooting guard from Chihuahua, Mexico, recently hit 13 3-pointers in one game and is currently averaging 23.6 points and 4 assists per game this season while hitting on 45% (21-47) from 3-point range.
Maxwell, a transfer from High Point University, hails from Petersburg, Vir. Maxwell played this summer at Jerry Mullen's JUCO Camp is currently averaging 21.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game this fall while hitting on a blistering 71 percent (48-68) from the floor.
The schedule will for sure get a lot tougher for the Cougars when region play begins very soon.
