Pioneers look to make move
Spartanburg Methodist College has been the NJCAA National Tourney two times in the past three seasons under head coach Jeff Brookman.
The Pioneers finished last season at 18-12.

The Pioneers will look for leadership this season from point guard Nate Motley and Brannon Dark. Motley averaged 9.5 ppg, 4.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds last season.
"Nate is a solid leader on the floor and can really get into the gaps" said Swanson.
Dark, a freak athlete, plays a combo forward position on the floor. Dark is a nearby product from Woodmont, SC. He averaged 6.5 ppg and 5.5 rebounds last season.
The Pioneers will open play like usual in the 8th Annual Pioneer-Swanny's Classic on the SMC Campus on October 31, November 1-2.
