Pirates defeat Titans

It was case of the good, bad and ugly. Mostly ugly and bad early. For the first time this year PSC had a full lineup; but, not much cohesion. The Pirates fell behind by as much as 15 pts and were lucky to be down only 11 (37-26) at the half. The second half started much better as PSC closed to within 4 but could not get any closer for most of the half. The Pirates (7-6) trailed by 5 at 59-54 with 27 seconds to go. A three pointer, steal and layup by Jamal Thomas tied the game with 3 seconds left. PSC led by 2 in the first half and did not lead again until 4:45 left in OT (60-59). In his first game since becoming eligible, Hassani Gravett hit four free throws to seal the game with 3 seconds left.
Gravett led the team with 27 pts (13-15 FTs), 7 rebs, 3 ast, and a steal. Filip Medjo had 14 pts and Jamal Thomas added 11. CGTC (9-5) was led by Sheldon Williams with 31 pts.
